The desk and dressing table provided ample space for my belongings, and the good-sized bathroom contributed to a pleasant experience. the room was well-equipped, making it a convenient retreat after a long day.
I did notice that the shower was small and the tea and coffee tray was located on the floor in the wardrobe, which felt a bit untidy and could potentially collect dust. While these were minor inconveniences, they did slightly detract from the overall experience.

very welcoming staff, a quiet location and a good breakfast
The carpets in the stairs/corridor area of the accommodation block were dirty, un-hoovered and held together with black tape. Although my room was generally clean the floors in the toilet and bathroom were not and when I took a bath I was sat looking at a ring of black dirty residue around the bathtap/shower control which was rather unpleasant. The rat traps in the car park may have been necessary but very obvious and a little disconcerting

Friendly, quiet, good parking, good breakfast included, free wi-fi, lovely riverside setting with super gardens and terrace, excellent value
The room design, particularly the bathroom, was terrible with the toilet sndwiched between the bath and the wall. Although seemingly purpose designed (I was in a newish outside annex), the bathroom is only 4 feet wide and that's not enough width for a bath and a toilet. Also, the shower tap was very hard to use and almost impossible to turn off. Overall, the hotel has a slightly tired look but it's still great value as the rate was so good.

The database highlighted an impressive variety of breakfast options, including a decent cooked selection and a plethora of cold items, complemented by ample juices, tea, and coffee. I appreciated the spacious layout, which allowed me to glide around the bed with ease, making good use of the dresser and chair.
One minor drawback was the slight chill in the evenings.

The staff and service was first rate the rooms were small but comfortable, the location was strange being in the middle of a housing estate but the river view from the rear was good

I had tastefully decorated and new-fashioned room here with tea and fantastic shower. The location was magnificent, at a walking distance from Main Street. The food they offered was appetising, had plenty of meals.

Beautiful riverside location, Variety in dining options, Excellent function room facilities
Check-in took forever!!! Room felt cramped with poor shower drainage!!! Noise from contractors disturbed sleep!!! Better signage would make it easier to find!!! With a little more attention to detail, this place could shine!!!

Very warm welcome from all of the staff - very friendly, very professional. Good breakfast - again very friendly, helpful waitress. Single room is a single bed, but room was comfortable and large radiator over which I had control meant I could be toasty or cool, as I wished! Not luxury accommodation, but great for the price.

They made my experience enjoyable during a rather difficult time. The team demonstrated professionalism and kindness, which turned a sad day into something special. The food was good, making me appreciate the attentive service even more as I celebrated with my family.
Nothing, all great! 😊.

Beautiful surroundings by the river, excellent location, rooms were clean not good value for money though very small. Seemed very short staffed only one member of staff at breakfast. It's a nice hotel just for a short stay

Resteraunt and bar superb as where the staff but hotel block is a nasty throwback to the 1960's small very dated rooms no bedside lights scruffy bathroom. But we were told a full update is due to start on may 23 2011!

I recently stayed for five nights at this lovely hotel while attending a training course. The riverside location was good, complete with beautiful outdoor seating. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Monika, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and the showers were excellent. The food prices were reasonable, and the full English breakfast was a highlight—plentiful and delicious. Cleanliness was really good, with daily tidying of our rooms and convenient parking available.
I totally recommend this hotel.
